Hi, I’m Melissa.

I’m a pediatric occupational therapist, a Certified Lactation Counselor, and a mama of four. For 20+ years, I’ve helped babies and their families with feeding and development, and I bring that experience to your living room. A whole-body approach for you and your baby.

Here’s why that matters: if your baby has trouble latching and also seems fussy, stiff, or hard to settle, you don’t need to piece together help from different people. I look at feeding, your baby’s development and regulation, and your comfort and recovery together, in one visit.

Why I started MAMA & BABE

I’m a native New Yorker who moved to Charlotte while pregnant with my first baby. My family was far away, and I had more questions than I expected. Even with good professional support, I wished someone would look beyond the immediate problem and consider both my baby’s needs and mine.

That experience is why MAMA & BABE exists.
